Join us April 14th from 9:30-2:30 for an Attendance Works Workshop provided by Francisco Baires, Senior Fellow of Attendance Works. The workshop will highlight some important topics including:
- Explore the intersection of attendance and family engagement
- Understand how to leverage positive relationships to build partnerships with families
- Use MTSS to build capacity for improving attendance
- Utilize strategies, tools and resources to support family engagement
Francisco Baires leverages thirteen years of mission-driven experience in engaging communities for positive change. He is a Senior Fellow at Attendance Works. Francisco is part of the team that created and leads the Learner Engagement and Attendance Program (LEAP), which helps school districts across Connecticut develop meaningful partnerships with families. He also created and manages the Connecticut Home Visit Hub providing training, coaching, and support to districts and schools across the United States. He has trained over 3,000 people in 30 states so they can build partnerships with families through positive relational home visits.
Lunch will be provided for all participants. Advanced registration required by April 3rd.
