THE COST & FINANCE PLAN With the goal of completing our pool for the 2020 swimming season, we face a much greater fundraising challenge. We need your help. Demolish old pool, excavation of site $160,000 Replace existing pool $1,945,000 Bathhouse $647,000 Expanded concrete decking $152,000 Contractor services and contingency $489,000 Water features $84,000 Diving tower $80,000 Shade structures $30,000 Total Cost $3,587,000 The $3,587,000 Cascade pool will be financed in the following ways: • $300-400,000 In-kind donations such as building materials, stone, concrete, professional services and volunteer labor • Up to $400,000 in grants • Up to $2,000,000 in a public bond issue • $600,000 city contribution • $1 million in a robust capital campaign. We will need you and all residents to help continue the tradition of investing in health and safety The Cascade pool committee is working with the City Council to finalize the financing plan. All gifts of any size are vital to the success of this ambitious project.
