About Us
The Dubuque Senior High Speech and Theatre Fund was founded as a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation in 2023. Its primary objective is to provide direct, dedicated, and accessible funding for ongoing advancement of Dubuque Senior High Speech and Theatre.
In 2020 a group of dedicated parent volunteers of the Dubuque Senior High Speech and Theatre Department organized to support the renovation of the historic Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium. During the renovation process and subsequent planning for the 100th Anniversary Celebration, it was determined an ongoing “working fund” and “endowed fund” for continued financial support would advance the department for the benefit of the students.
This fund is designed to supplement the annual budget of Speech and Theatre.

This foundation will officially kick-off Saturday, March 4, 2023. Members of Thespian Troupe 69 and other current students, faculty, coaches, parents and alumni from coast to coast will come together to celebrate 100 years of tradition in the Lamb-Hedeman Auditorium. With continued financial support, the success of the Dubuque Senior High Speech and Theatre can thrive for the next 100 years and beyond!
The organizing committee has currently raised over $20,000 for the Fund and Endowment combined.
