About Us
Field of BIG Dreams is a 510(c)(3) charity dedicated to raising funds and supporting organizations that serve children who have been diagnosed with cancer, veterans, and their families. Our goal is to provide support for transformational and therapeutic programs which offer them:
• Social connections to combat isolation, anxiety and depression
• New experiences that build confidence, independence and self-esteem
• Opportunities for children to restore their sense of self, and envision a brighter future through play, support services or educational experiences
• Opportunities for veterans to access training, employment support, and emotional or mental health care services to address their needs
To accomplish this, Field of BIG Dreams is working now in partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, which allows for tax-deductible donations to be made in support of Field of BIG Dreams through their foundation. Our goal is to begin awarding grants to organizations in Spring 2023. Applications for grant funding will not be accepted until next year. Please check our website in early 2023 for more details.
Mission
The mission of Field of BIG Dreams is to raise funds in support of organizations offering programs that improve the emotional and mental health of children with cancer, as well as veterans, and their families. We exist to fuel them with the resources, support and hope they need to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams.

A world without dreams is unimaginable.
Yet every day, there are many fighting to keep their dreams alive.
Trauma, disease and isolation turn their dreams into darkness.
This is especially true for children battling cancer,
and veterans plagued by mental and emotional challenges.
Both can carry invisible scars of anxiety, depression, and isolation.
For them, dreams seem to evaporate, and life becomes smaller.
We say, it's time for them to DREAM BIG again.
