The Manchester Public Library is located in Delaware County in Manchester, Iowa. We provide books in print, audio books, eBooks, games, puzzles, and more for check out. Programs are provided for all age groups and interests. MPL has many services available including free notary public, many digital resources, copying and faxing services for a small fee, technology help through scheduled tech times, and many more!

Success Story

The Manchester Public Library opened in 1903 with the help of a Carnegie grant of $10,000.  It is the 3rd oldest Carnegie Library in Iowa still being used as a library. In 1993, the library was added on to, almost doubling the original size. MPL was originally built to provide a free library for all, and continues to achieve that goal.
