Thanks to everyone who participated in our Community Heart & Soul® program, we truly understand what matters most to the community as shown in the value statements. We've secured an amazing $100,000 Small-Town Dreams Challenge Grant to start turning those shared visions into real projects that will make our town even better.
Our goal is to build a permanent $450,000 community savings fund. The best part, benchmark goals will unlock grantmaking dollars throughout the process. This fund will grow and lead to a payout of over $20,000 every single year, forever, to continuously support the local projects that reflect our shared values. This is how we guarantee a bright and stable future for Peosta, shaped by the community itself.
