Cynthia Wehrenberg

Youth Impact Coordinator

“My work has a direct impact on families and children, and that motivates me every day.”

Cynthia coordinates our Every Child Reads and YAPPERS programs. This includes facilitating community connections to support school readiness, attendance, summer learning, and children’s brain health.

Over 20 years of experience in the corporate world has strengthened Cynthia’s ability to think strategically, manage large-scale projects and build relationships. In 2020, she evaluated her goals and decided to leave a demanding job that required time away from her family. Through this reflection she discovered a desire to work with children in the community. For Cynthia, that community comprises a group of people who look out for one another, help out when needed and work together toward the greater good.

In her new role, Cynthia has the opportunity to spend more time with her husband Todd and three children, Kaden, Soya and Landon. Cynthia teaches her children the life skills they’ll need to become independent adults and care for their future families through laughter, debate and support. Cynthia enjoys cycling, yoga and baking.
