After serving a year as foundation coordinator, Michelle Grover was promoted to executive director and has dedicated her time to learning about community needs in order to guide impactful grantmaking through the Community Foundation. She plans to continue growing a proactive donor network, partner with local professional advisors, and offer presentations to educate the community about the Foundation and its mission.
“I've really come to understand the Foundation’s mission, the roles of our community partners, and how endowments create a lasting impact on people in our area,” said Grover. “Getting to know and work with our board has been rewarding, and I'm excited to continue supporting their work.”
Grover enjoys meeting and working with the people of Dyersville. She looks forward to supporting the work of the Foundation and continuing to strengthen the community, ensuring a strong future for the area.
“Michelle, with her great leadership skills and management tools, will continue on with the good work that is never finished,” said board member Nancy Dunkel.
Grover has a bachelor’s degree in business management, a master’s degree in health education, and deep involvement in the community. She has served as a member of the St. Francis Xavier Parent Association, the Dyersville Recreation Board, co-chaired the Beckman Capital Campaign, and on the parish council at St. Francis Xavier church.
