About Us
Quality education has always played a significant role in the District. However, the educational and financial demands on schools continue to increase while the budget continues to shrink. Our challenge is to provide the schools with the resources to offer students a comprehensive education with higher accountability and prepare our students for the technological challenges that face them in our competitive society.
Mission
The Foundation is dedicated to improving the District by raising and providing money for projects that enhance the educational opportunities for our children.

In August 2014 the Anamosa Community School Foundation purchased a Torchmate Plasma Cutter for the Anamosa High School and Middle School Industrial Technology Departments. This purchase gives our Middle School and High School students the opportunity to have immediate hands on education, something many to most school districts can not offer. While, most students need to enroll at technical colleges or universities to get this kind of education, we are now offering it through our Industrial Tech curriculum in the Middle School and High School. This would not have been possible without the generosity and support that the community shows our school district through the Foundation.
