About Us
In the fall of 1993, Images & Information was born! . Images & Information is an organization whose volunteers believe that giving back to the community is important. We planned a fashion show with breast cancer survivors as our models and greeters. Our goals were to promote awareness of breast cancer and that early detections is your best protection, and to celebrate survivorship.
Over the years we had Doctors, Survivors, Family and Friends, and Survivors speak about breast cancer.
In 2002, a third goal was added – to help financially, breast cancer survivors in need. We had a Silent Auction to help raise funds, and many local businesses, individuals and organizations donated or had fundraisers to help with this goal. The Tri States Survivor Fund helped many survivors.
2010 we started an Endowment Fund – Breast Cancer Survivors of the Tri States Endowment Fund with the Community Foundation. We were planning for the future of our goals!
After 23 years, we closed the fashion show and Silent Auction. We focused on a new direction to help survivors.
We are now directing ALL funds to the Breast Cancer Survivors of the Tri States Endowment Fund.
The Endowment Fund distributes the monies to local breast cancer survivors in financial need.
