Success Story

Every dollar donated to MercyOne Dyersville Foundation goes to support the programs and services offered by MercyOne-Dyersville, MercyOne Dyersville Senior Care (Oak Crest) and Ellen Kennedy Living Center.  We raise funds in a variety of ways, including events, such as our Annual Dinner and Trivia Night.  We also receive funding through grants, our annual giving program, endowments, bequests/planned giving and memorial gifts. We keep our donors informed through our quarterly newsletter, Foundations.  This is sent to anyone that has made a donation in the past 18 months.  We also update our donors with an annual report at the end of each year.  This recognizes all the donors that have given a gift the past fiscal year and also reports on lifetime/cumulative giving and memorials.  We also highlight some of the projects funded by donations and the impact those gifts have on healthcare in our community. Thanks to our generous donors, we have funded over $2,500,000 in projects and programs since 2005.  Your gifts have provided vital medical equipment, beds, décor, security systems, technology, education, environmental and maintenance equipment, physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation equipment, a new Hospice Suite for Oak Crest, a renovated Emergency Department for MercyOne Dyersville, activities and treats for Oak Crest residents, staff appreciation events and so much more.  Your gifts touch the lives of virtually every patient, resident, tenant, staff member and visitor that comes through our doors.  We are currently raising funds to bring 3D Mammography to MercyOne Dyersville.  3D mammography is now considered the standard of care.  It has been proven to catch more cancer and to catch it earlier.  With your help, we can continue to provide the best possible care to our patients close to home.
