About Us
The Jackson County Disaster Recovery Fund provides an opportunity for the public to give with the reassurance their donations will be used to quickly move resources to where they are most urgently needed in our own community, particularly toward needs not being met by existing non-profit, local, state and federal programs. Guidelines: What we support Our grants support local agencies that need funding to meet the immediate and short-term food, clothing, health, safety and shelter needs in our community. Our intent is to award grants to governments, schools, churches and 501c3 organizations whose services, programming or mission will directly have a positive impact on those unmet needs of affected individuals or families in the community. Grants are not made directly to individuals.

Mission
The mission of the Community Foundation of Jackson County is to nurture charitable giving, enrich quality of life and promote a sense of community now, and in the future.
