About Us

The Sabula Community Visioning Committee was created in 2013 in order to apply for and receive a grant that provided Sabula with professional planning and design assistance. We are a volunteer committee made up of long time Sabula residents and a few new comers, retired and working folks. The one thing we all have in common is our love for Sabula and optimism for the future. This committee is now tasked with implementing projects that were developed by the community through the Community Visioning grant.

Mission

Our mission is to develop and complete projects that ensure the vitality of Sabula for generations to come.

Success Story

In 2014, Sabula completed a design process that provided conceptual plans for community enhancements. The committee is now tasked with implementing these projects. The project goals we have range in scale from implementing landscaping for beautification to a signage system that promotes community destinations to a community trail with a overlook on Middle Lake. Our goals are lofty but our love of our community is strong. We are working slowly but steadily to make our community a place we are all proud to live, raise families, work and recreate.
