The Allamakee County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Brent Beyer of Waukon has joined the Allamakee County Community Foundation Board of Directors.

Brent has been a resident of Allamakee County for seventeen years and is a member of the board of directors of the Allamakee Scholarship Fund, Inc. His wife, Denise, currently serves as the Allamakee County auditor.

“I want to help this organization continue the great success it has had in impacting and benefiting so many areas within Allamakee County,” says Brent. “I would like to see the Foundation continue to impact the lives of those in the communities by seeking areas of focus and improvement for all ages within the community.

Brent is an adjunct professor at Northeast Iowa Community College. He and his wife have two children, Brady and Claire.

The ACCF was formed in 2005 as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque. The founding members of the organization had a vision to ensure that charitable programs were supported now and in the future. ACCF works together with many individuals, families, business, and organizations to establish endowment funds that will provide grant awards for years to come.

Donors who give to endowments through a community foundation also benefit from the Endow Iowa 25% State Tax Credit in addition to federal charitable income tax deductions.
