Tell us about yourself! 

I have lived in Harpers Ferry with my husband Bruce for the last 30 years. We have four sons: Tyler, Adam, Nathan and Carter. As a family, we enjoy spending time on the river and at our farm a few miles away. My hobbies include biking, kayaking, gardening and quilting. 

What experiences do you think will make you a great board member?

 My volunteer experiences past and present include Harpers Ferry Rescue Squad EMT,  Harpers Ferry Little League Manager, Waterville Parents for Progress, and Allamakee Athletic Board member. While working over 20 years in city government, I gained project manager experience and knowledge of how local communities function, which will all be valuable as I serve on the board.  

What are you most looking forward to as you begin working with the Foundation? 

I’m looking forward to working with all of the foundation board members and learning more about each community within the county: building relationships with our community members, learning about the visions of each group and what they are working on in their community. As a board member I am eager to learn about and support the different projects, programs, and other adventures that our community members bring forward.
