Tell us about yourself!

I have lived in DeWitt since 1999 and have always been a Clinton County person. My family owned a feed store in Low Moor, so I have always liked smaller town living. I enjoy giving back to the community, church and volunteering on different boards. I am married to Lynn, an educator. Being married to a reading teacher, I really appreciate LincolnWay’s support of Dolly Parton’s Imagination library.

What has it been like to serve on the board?

It is great to give back to the community and award funds for great projects in Clinton County.

I was asked by my boss if I would like to join the board and represent the bank. It was an honor to be asked to join the organization, learn about the LincolnWay Community Foundation and what they supported. All of the projects are deserving, and any grants to first responders are well worth it.

Serving on the board has helped me learn about other communities and what they are doing to become better places to live, as well as giving me the opportunity to meet different community leaders from  DeWitt and the rest of Clinton County.
