Jason Adams
Chief Financial OfficerA pivotal moment in Jason’s career was becoming a member of the Leadership Dubuque class of 2020. Through that program, he began to see the big picture of generosity in greater Dubuque and learn about local nonprofits, including the Community Foundation. He joined our team that same year and is excited to play a part in the Foundation’s efforts to strengthen communities and inspire giving in our region.
Jason is responsible for the Community Foundation’s financial health, combining operational and strategic goals to establish a financial strategy that will help us maintain long-term stability – allowing us to focus on our mission. He has more than a decade of experience as a CPA in public accounting, giving him insight into the complex regulations and requirements an organization like ours must follow.
Jason is inspired by his wife's generosity and selflessness on a daily basis as she strives to keep their family happy and healthy. He says, “She never ceases to amaze me and continuously makes me want to be a better person.” Paula and Jason met in Chicago and now live in Dubuque with their three very energetic grade-school children, Evelyn, Eli and Ethan. He spends his free time doing whatever his kids are into, and enjoys golfing, skiing (downhill and water), St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball, fantasy sports and crypto technology.
